Help... eggs

My golden geckos laid two eggs a few months ago. I have an exo-terra and they have laid them on the back wall. I'm no expert, but I think these eggs look good, they are white and a good shape. But surely they would have hatched by now? How long does it take?...

Today, they laid 2 more eggs next to the others. The shape isnt as good and they are slightly yellow compared to the older eggs. Is this just because they're newly laid or because they aren't fertile?...

I can't move them to an incubator because they are glued to the terrarium.
Any suggestions on what I should do with all these eggs would be much appreciated.

Ps. I can try and get pictures of them if that would help?...

DON'T try to move them. Eggs are fragile, and usually eggs glued in place need to stay in place.

Egg incubation time for goldens can take as little as 60 days and as long as 200 days. As long as they look good, leave them there. The new eggs may be infertile but don't remove them until you are 100% sure, as in mold is growing on them/they are rotting.

You can incubate in the cage as long as your temps are right. Put some gauze or a small plastic deli cup with some holes punched in it over them and tape it in place if you want to corral the hatchling when they hatch(not a bad idea, the parents might consider them to be snacks). If your adults are being kept correctly humidity/temp wise(and they most likely are if they are breeding) then the young should hatch no problem.

Goldens take on average 90-100 days if temps are correct. As for the adults eating their young, I have never had a problem. Not to say it can not happen but in all the young I have had hatch in the cage with the adults I have never lost one.

Thats interesting. My goldens eagerly prey on their offspring and I know that the same is true for the goldens of some other breeders.

I think I'll put a cup over them just to be on the safe side...
Just out of curiosity... do you think they would have started to rot at this stage if they weren't fertile? (They're about 4 months old)

Most certainly. Infertile eggs usually start molding within a week or two, sometimes a little longer depending on temp/humidity. At four months old I would expect babies any day now.
