This past weekend was the Daytona breeders expo and it has so far been the largest show that I have gone to. Lets just say I should have gone with Less money lol. In the end I left with 7 leopard geckos, a fat tail gecko, a really nice glass tank with sliding front doors that was a total steal, lots of new hides, meal worm dishes (that work really well on roaches as it turns out), and a few other things.
But Im such a sucker and ended up getting 5 geckos from one guy who I think is on this forum, 2 from rare geckos, and the fat tail came from..um..y notes are *somewere*. But on to the goods. I didn't want to stree them out to much so the photos are not the best..in fact out of the 8 geckos only about half have eaten since I got them home..so for now I just want to let them get use to their new digs.
this is one of the smallest ones I got from the show.
ok the one above has some neat eyes. it was labled max snow enigma pos het raptor. would eyes like that mean its an eclipes?
I can't wait until next year when these guys are bigger and can breed!! and I guess I should say these "girls' cuz they will hopfuly all prove to be female.
this and the one above it I couldn't make up my mind which one I wanted so I ended up getting a killer deal and got both :shock:
out of all the enigmas I got this one shows the most head tilting..but I think once she gets used to being here it will stop. i know as soon as I got her into her tub all she wanted to do was drink and drink and drink.
and this is the last one for the leos..and its so awsome...I told my friends she has side burns
ok not a leopard gecko but its so cute. I wanted to get a pair of fat tails but I ended up with more leopard geckos then I meant to buy so I ust helpd off on the fat tail for now.
Now if you can believe this, all of the above geckos combined cost me LESS than $350. Shows RULE! :yahoo:
