bearded dragon

my 5 week old bearded dragon doesn't seem to have as big of an appatite as my other one did, but he was older when i bought him, he eats only around three crickets a day, and i little bit of veggies, although i would not call him skinny, he is definently not fat unlike my other was. he runs all around when i try to pick him up, but he is pretty lazy during the day, is the normal?

Im sure he's fine. from what I've noticed with some young beardies is that they dont all eat a lot. Like Zack said, as long as he's active, pooping and eating some he'll be fine. it might be a good idea to dust the crickets with a vitamin/calcium dust and try some different types of veggies. Also put some worms under the veggies so they move, sometimes it sparks a greater interest in the veggie platter if its moving around some.

i think he has gotten sicker, there are little spots of runny poop on the paper towel, each with a dead cricket in the center, and he just lays down with his eyes closed all the time. i was reading, and read that the light may be to bright, and sure enough i checked on it, and realized it was a hundred watte clear bulb :O. so i did as they said, cut the lights for a while, and replaced the light bulb, but he has not gotten better yet, i guess i will have to give him time to recover, but i have been feeding him emergency reptile food through a syringe.
