I dont know what kind of gecko you have but yes most can and sometimes do, they may also eat the eggs as well.

Hello NathanSoto,

i thought it was no doubt, which geckos i mean, when i post it in the Aeluroscalabotes felinus section.:D

I know, most species will eat the babies, but what about A.felinus?

I've never personally had an issue with felinus eating their young. But I do recall an old post where (I think it was Marcus) said that he had experienced it. Again, with eating their eggs, I've never had that happen (that I know of). But I have had females reabsorb their eggs on more than one occasion.

Matthias, I have a much better success rate hatching outside of the viv than if left in situ. You may want to dig around a bit and see if you can find the eggs and take them out.

Haha sorry vierfleck, i clicked on it in the new posts area and failed to notice that A.felinus was the section, but best of luck with the felinus.
