I think that size would be fine for a 1.2-1.3 group(one male, 2-3 females) or up to 4 females. You could possibly do 1.4, but it would be tight. Of course, less is more. A single crested or a pair would thrive.

I keep 3 females in there and introduce a male for a month or two. Just make sure its heavily planted so they can all find their own little niche!

I have the exact same size of tank and can clearly remember calculating the gallon size for it. It's just a little over 30 gal so keeping a group of three females in there and introducing a male for a few months each breeding season is a workable plan. however I wouldn't keep four in there for long periods of time

Well DO you know about breeding?
Are you prepared to have a lay box in the tank and to house multiple hatchlings ?

well care for leos is quite different from cresties so maybe you should be researching prior to just diving into breeding.

You should take the advise of people who are more educated in what you are planning to do more openly. Rather then making smart ass responses.

DEFENSIVE AREN'T WE!!!! I believe i already said things can be taken the wrong way and your calling me a smart ass, do u read b4 u respond??? u haven't given advice on what this thread is about which is how many to a tank, u went off on a tangent on breeding and stuff which is not my question. I'm open to advice but the question is how many to a tank, not breeding,or how to prepare for babies. I do believe u were being all righteous when u stated that i should do my research 1st but since i asked a question i guess that is WHAT i'm doing!!!! If i had a question on all the tangents u brought up i would have asked but since it does not pertain to my question why bring it up. Ii believe u r breaking the TOS by you comment as well . tsk tsk

Wow.. I sure hope you are in high school because it sure seems like it. If not then wow.

I asked you questions in the beginning because if you are asking how many to a tank there are things to consider. Sex, age, whether you are breeding or not etc.
Also when you are saying if it "happens it happens then" it just sounds like you are not really knowledgeable about breeding of cresties, which you clearly are not, therefore I am going to respond questioning that as most people who have knowledge with breeding would.

I'm done here because clearly you don't care to learn.
