I heard that the hatch rate is low and the eggs usually hatch out females more than males, is this true???

I just got an email the other day from Phillipe deVosjoli about chahoua incubation. He says 50/50 ratio at any temperature. There is more, PM if you're interested.

It's also really variable as far as hatching success rate as well. Some people have excellent luck getting their geckos to produce, lay viable eggs, and incubate them until they hatch...but other folks have a very hard time getting them to even begin laying eggs. It seems to be very conditional, and not quite as easy as breeding cresteds or gargoyles. Our pair also had clutches almost 4.5 months apart, which isn't exactly typical either.

so 50/50 huh!! i guess maybe certain loacale might have dominant female hatchlings as the explanation.
