I realize geckos need their D3 to be able to properly process the calcium and such. But do I need to use any UV or, can I just supplement it with Ca+D3 powder for my pictus?
A UV bulb is pretty useless with Pictus, for a few reasons. First, they hide during the daylight hours, so they aren't exposed to it, second, they aren't climber/baskers, so they never get close enough to the bulb for the UV to reach them.
