anyone know anything about "two-way" acrylic?

I was thinking about the possibility of building or modifying enclosures with two way acrylic mirror fronts, so I could actually catch a glimpse of my shyer phelsuma.

Would this work? The majority of the light would be on the inside of the enclosure, but there would still be ambient light in the room from what escapes above the enclosures. I have never seen this stuff in person, just had the idea and wanted to know if it was possible.

do you mean one way mirrowred acrylic?

if so guessing you mean the mirror side on the inside so they cant see out i would do it as it may stress them see the reflection

if you wanted to do something like this id et tint(on a roll or just tinted acrylic) and used that instead as you should be able to see in as the inside should be brighter than you romm meaning that the light will come out but not much will go into the cage from its surroundings meaning they will hardly see you( in theory)
