Gah apparently my mom told my dad of my plan and he said no. I will wait until my sixteenth birthday.

I'll say since im a guy I don't want a sweet sixteen and I'd rather get a gecko, you do the math, a thousand dollars to a mere few hundred. Maybe ill get a nice little leopard with raptor eyes.

Plus fall/winter isn't a good idea to buy a gecko in New Jersey due to the cold weather. Don't want the poor guy freezing in his box on his way.
