one of my female auriculatus has big problems to change her skin...first the male removed her tail and now that...

a few minutes ago i helped her and removed a little bit of the old skin by myself... but on her feet it´s to dangerous - i´m afraid to damage her claws...

has anyone a tip for me what i can do?

U need to put in a moss hide and start misting more often if thats the case.. A bath in a shallow bowl of slightly warm water may help right now but it sounds like u need humidity

Is the humidity high enough for her? If she's a bad shedder, like some of my guys, she may need a higher humidity level than usual so she can shed better.

The other thing I think most people would recommend doing would be to let her soak in some warm water so the skin loosens up and then either help her get it off with a q-tip or see if she'll finish the job.

normal humidity should be okay... at the day it´s 50 - 60% and in in the night up to 80% - a lot of plants are in the housing and lots of wood and stones to help shedding up the old skin...

tomorrow i try bathing in warm water...

thx for the tip´s
