New addition (P.guimbeaui)

Today I received 1.1 P. guimbeaui and I thought I would share some pictures of the male. My photography isn't great and I was worried about him bolting so excuse the blurriness in some of the pics. I have not altered the images in any way, those are his real colours!

Here he is being unpacked and introduced into his new home. The bamboo in the pic is thick, about 4-5" in diameter in case it is making the gecko appear smaller

:biggrin: I picked up a pair of juvenile klemmeri in September and they are growing up nicely. I'll have to take some good pics of them and when I do I'll post them. Pretty sure they are my favourite species so far, I'm planning on an 18x18x24 with a 1.4 group in it, but that is dependent on what the sex of these two turns out to be.

Thanks Preston. Hopefully I'll have some breeding success and make a few more available.

On a side note, what size group do you keep your klemmeri in for breeding and do all the females in the group breed and lay good eggs?

Best with 1.1 But have a 1.3 right now that is working out well. Tried 1.2 but dominant female kind of took control of the tank, but with three females in a large tank has been working out fine
