shell less egg?

I have a female named Kai who I got on 07/10/08. She was hatched on 01/05/07 and was bred by celebritygeckos . She is a BIG girl, weighting in at 91g and about 10inches long, but she is not a giant. she was sold to me as a proven breeder and 8 or so months after I got her, I put her in with one of my males. I saw them breeding and waited for eggs that never came. She did go off her food and showed signed of wanting to lay eggs but nothing ever happened. I have put her in with 2 other males since then. All 3 of the males I have had her in with are proven by me. But still nothing. So the latest male I put her with, Raja, complements her so well in temperament and size. I never saw them breed but they were together for the last 4 or more months. I put 2 other females in with him while they were together and both have produced eggs.
Now here is the reason for the post. Kai started nesting in her box the other day. I saw her dig out a nice hole and then I left her alone thinking that she finally was going to lay eggs! The next day I looked in the lay box and didn't see anything from the top so I dug around and OMG it STUNK. I don't' mean it just smelled bad, it STUNK. Then at the bottom of the vermiculite, it was sort of fused in a gelatinous mess. I think that kai laid a shell less egg.
I know birds can do it. So why not geckos? only what can I do to stop this from happening.
Her diet:
Crickets, roaches, mealworms-all get dusted at least 2 or 3 times a week with rep-cal calcium with vit. D3 and leopard gecko dust by T-rex. and once a month, or ever two months depending on my mice, she gets a pinkie.
Tank setup:
She is in a large sweeter box with moist hide/lay egg box, 2 hides and water dish. Her heat tape is set to 92F on one side and the other side is in the mid 80's but fluctuates this time of year in to the high 70's.

Any ideas? She has gone off her food recently, which I tend to associate with a gravid female or one who is ready to breed at the lest.

If she's laying eggs you need to give her calcium with every meal, not just two or three a week. That will make egg shells nice and strong.

Sometimes geckos will lay infirtile eggs , and they usually stink really bad!

I forgot to include, she has access to calcium at all times I use gateraid bottle caps and make sure all females and babies have it. my males are the only ones who mostly get it from their food.

Does she know it's there? (seems like a stupid question, but if she doesn't know it's there she isn't getting any ;) )
