One of my adult female C. louisiadensis has laid several clutches so far this season. Each time she has shed 4-5 days prior to laying the clutch. Is this coincedence or do pre-lay sheds occur in this genus (and other geckos for that matter)? I assume that they eat the shed as I have never found a shed from any of my Cyrtodactylus while it is always in the enclosure with my other geckos?
