eye problems still

Well lennie (My leopard Gecko) has gotten a little bit better,but she still keeps her eyes shut.

2 People had suggested I use some sterile saline,
Then I read on a web site (Read below)


"In the meantime, if you feel up to it, you can try to gently flush some sterile saline (used for contact lens wearers) into the leopard gecko’s affected eye. You can purchase sterile saline (get one that is preservative-free)"


Does it matter if it has preservatives?

Running out of options because the vet has been closed since the end of last week and wont open till the 11'th. So I need some help until then.

My leo had the same issues and we tried the saline solution until we could get to the vet but since the leo wasnt getting antibiotics sooner it was too late...

Vet said he would be fine but (Today) the day after the vet he died, if there is an infection in their eye it can rapidly spread to the brain... If i had known that i could have paid $100 for an Emergency vet visit then i would have done it.. instead of waiting for them to open..
