Lacerta viridis rescue

Hi!

I found on our pier almost two months ago a young Lacerta viridis lizard which did not move and was in a bad shape with damaged tail. So I thought i bring it back to my apartment. I put into one of my free tank and care her the same way as my geckos. Now she looks nice and the tail regenerated nicely. She couldn't survive outside the winter was close. I think somehow she was not strong enough to gather food or something damaged her. Besides the weather was like -5c one day and the other was like almost 15c. This winter brumation is skipped this time but if the spring comes and the weather is around 20c i put her back to the garden to a nice place where she could start her life with a second chance.

Thanks. :) Although this species is not endangered the increasing temperture in their egg laying nests make more and more male and the lizard population homogenous due to climate changing,
