Well I Got Two Leos When They Was 5 Or 6 Weeks, Well Stupidly I Believed They Were Male And Female, Got To Six Months And They Started To Fight, I Thought It Was Mating- Who Says Mother Nature Runs By A Book? Well No, Two Males, Never A Good Thing.
Anyway I Got A Two Meter Viv, Cost Me A Bomb With Unit, And The Fighting Carmed Down, Then A Matter Of Weeks, Fighting Happend Again.
I Was Sleeping With One Eye Open All Nights! Soo Paranoid The Fighting Would Get Worse. So I Decided To Split The Cage In Half, With A Sheet Of Plastic Perspecks. Which I Can Remove To Clean.
When I Got The Cage I Got A Long Heat Mat, Which When I Had To Split Them I Had To Move, So Iv Put It So They Got Half Each, I Got A Heat Lamp In The Middle Which Is Eithwer 100 Or 150, And Cool Sides At Each Ends.
Is There Anything I Am Missing?
In The Old Viv They Were Used To A UV Lamp, But I Heard Its Not Needed. So Iv Excluded It.
The Heat Kept Excapeing Out The Top Of The Viv, So Iv Used Tin Foil and A Blanket, And Also My Heat Mat Was Not Heating Through The Glass Properly So I Had To Put Polystriene Under The Mat To Push It Up To The Glass, The Heat Mat Wont Catch The Polystriene On Fire Will It???
Also One Of My Males Had Wounds On His Back, Hes Had A Shed Since Then And Shedded Fine, But The Scaring Wont Go Away, Is That Right? Oh And He Has A Orange Mark Under His Arm, Im Presuming That Is A Marking.
Is It Possible That They Are Likely To Miss Each Other Once Split?
