Refrigeration

Quick question:
Should all herp vitamins be stored in the fridge after opening? Including repashy foods? I've only ever had one bottle of vitamins (I believe it was T-rex brand) that said "keep refrigerated".
Oh, and if I keep my "shake n bake" baggie of vitamin dust outside the fridge for a few days, does it lose its nutritional value?

Vitamins break down over time, some sooner than others. Exposure to air, humidity and even light can affect how long they're effective. Minerals like calcium don't change, though calcium with D3 can lose the D3 like any other vitamin.

Most people just keep the container at room temperature, but there's nothing wrong with storing it in the fridge. I go one step farther and keep the vitamin powder in the freezer. The powder doesn't freeze solid, is still powdery even if frozen, but it does slow the vitamin breakdown over time. I also freeze any calcium with D3 for the same reason.
