Encounter! Sighting! Alien!!

But seriously, I think my amyae Sparta looked like an alien when he stand on his wood:

Retreating to his "safe zone" - on top of his humid box (he goes to sit there everytime when we walk near him):

Since I never saw them during daytime, I lifted their hides to take a couple normal colored pics yesterday:

that first pic is great! not considering the trees in the background, the red hues make it look like a scene from Mars
