If there are no vets nearby, you can try to treat it with a mild medicinal ointment or salve. Here in the states I have used Neosporin, an over-the-counter topical antibiotic ointment. I have used this on a female I rescued that had a recent tip of her tail broken off and also on the tip of the snout of a male I rescued from a petshop. The last one was tricky because I did not want to interfere with the natural breathing through the nostrils of this laticauda. I have used it regularly over the years during breeding season on females that have shown signs of aggressive mating(usually on the nape of the neck). I would just apply a very thin layer on the area.
***I would only apply this every 2-4D for a period of 1-2 weeks.***
This is what has worked for me...
In the meantime, I spoke as a 25-year history of Hungarian breeder.
He says that if a female is attached to Cart resolved this problem.
I hope he's right.
March 7, I'm going Pölten, they bought a female grandis.
