Clear up on Amels(Albinos?)

Hello G.U.
I am a new but not so new member of this forum.
I've been on a few years but have been havign problems with my other account so I made a new one. This is a thread conserning amel Fait tailed geckos.

First off, I've seen many different amels.
I've seen orange with white bands,
Orange with brownish bands.
Tangerine amel, tangerine (albino?), caramel albino, etc.

I'm sure most of these are just names peopel put out there for theyre own strains, but I want to clear up the basic forms of amel.

Are the white bands and the brown bands form the same strain?
Are they all the same strain of amel?
Are the so called albinos amels as well or something different? (just different naming, but truly the same morph?)

And can they all be bred to each other.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post, feel free to participate and learn through this thread.

tangerine albinos are line bred amels/albinos and can breed with other amels/albinos. There are two types of albinos/amels available which are not compatible with each other.

For example
albino/amel x caramel albino = 100% normal dh amel and Carmel albino

hope that helps

Yes two different strains that are not compatible with each other

amels/first albinos were the first ones that came out in the late 90s if i remember correctly and the newer Carmel albinos where recently discovered in 2008 by the urban gecko
