Hello Everybody,
I am Marc Belt from Holland, 25 years old and keeping reptiles for more than 10 years. Before i kept especially varanus species. At this time I'am starting with Australian Geckos, Nephrurus, Diplodactylus and Strophurus.
I went to australie in januari/februari 2008, and saw LOTS of geckos, i fell in love right about then.
I went to aussie alone, but i met Ted Johansen there (Volunteer of gecko research in the NT). He told me a lot and i saw several great gecko species:
Nehrurus Amyae,Nephrurus Levis,Nehrurus Laevissimus,Strophurus Cilliaris, Strophurus Intermedius,Strophurus Elderi and several Diplodactylus and Lucasium species. Other lizards i saw include: Moloch Horridus,Varanus Giganteus. IT was really great......i hope to go back soon!
I have been reading on this forum for months and thought it was time to introduce myself;-) I think it is a great forum and hope to learn much!
