Crestie Treats

I'm sure the animals dont care either way, but i like to give them treats every now and then. My leopard geckos get waxworms, but my cresties and garg wont even look at them.

They get CDG and crickets as their main diet, but just as a treat is baby food alright?
The one i was looking at is basically a smoothie - no preservatives, salt or added bits or anything.
I've read people use fruit mixed with chicken/turkey baby food for cresties, but i just thought i'd check first

and if not, any ideas for treats they might like?

Thanks!

Hi! ;-)

I think for treating proposes you can vary the diet.

For example we prefer for crestie such diet system and follow it:

Mo: 2 crickets + Reptocal
Tu: allowed fruits (I mean not citrus) or "Hilde diet" (mango + strawbery+banan+pear (or plum) + neutral youghurt -> mixed in blender -> result to the refrigerator for freeze (we divide portions with blocks for ice))
We: 2 turkmenian roaches + Reptocal
Th = without feeding
Fr = Mo
Sn = Tu
Su = without feeding

+ 2 times in month Multivitamin complex

I would completely stay away from all baby foods if I were you, especially meat product baby foods.

I agree with StickyFeet for 100% :idea:

Figs, please look to my diet preparations photo :) I think you should agree that it looks healther neither baby foods "conserve" :)

... and such care will be appreciated :biggrin:
