I have a nice little moist hide for my Leopard gecko Nova. It is filled with paper towels that I spray with water whenever I can. I am working on getting that moss stuff to put in it for her. She has already had her first successful shed and I think the moist hide really helped.
What I am wondering is... does the moist hide do anything except help with shedding? I can tell when she is getting close to a shed and I will make sure to keep it moist while she is close to shedding. But is it necessary to keep it moist while she is not in the process of shedding?
And also I just realized I don't know how often they shed. Lol if anyone could tell me, that would be great
