This has been a great gecko week for me! I went to the Emerald City Reptile Expo over the weekend, and got two juvenile cresties from a really nice lady, $30 for he both of them! It was getting clse to the end of the show and after talking to her for a while she was just like "I want them to go to a good home, you seem like you'll love them to death. You can pick any two for 30."
Of course I couldn't resist that offer. I got an orange tiger with red stripes named Pele', and a yellow/creamy harley?? named Kilauea (keely for short). They are female and probable female, respectively. They are both friendly little babies :)
AND, Neytiri, my red female laid her first clutch this morning!! :yahoo: And to my delight, both the eggs seem healthy! Bright white and smooth. One of the eggs has a small inward crease/indent on one side. I am so proud of her :)
Here's the pics, sorry they aren't the best quality...

Congrats on your crestie finds...as well as the egg haha. How different do the young crested geckos look compared to the adults usually? Do they change as dramatically as leopard geckos seem to?

cresties tend to keep the pattern they're born with, but colors often change dramatically. most are actually a brick reddish color when they hatch.
