Gekko genus pairing; brumation

Can members of this genus be kept in pairs or trios? I have heard some people say it is better to keep them separate, but if the cage is big enough and well planted enough, with plenty of hiding spots, it seems logical that they could be housed together, no?

Also, do these geckos need to be brumated, with temperature drops and the like? Considering they are from the tropics, I'm guessing the answer is no.

Lastly, does anyone know of any good herpetological literature on these species in English? I can't seem to find much.

Thanks!

Jeff
