Hi
I have a young P M Grandis that I acquired a couple of months ago. He/she seems to be losing weight and doesn't like Blaptica Dubia the way my E Macularius or baby R Ciliatus do. He's eaten he Dubia once or twice but generally shies away from it or rubs his snout against the bamboo perch that he's on when I offer it to him with tweezers. He'll take a cricket from the tweezers, but when it comes time for a second cricket or a Dubia, he'll rub his snout. Any idea what this is? As soon as I retreat he stops rubbing his snout. Is it a territorial display? Is he saying 'not hungry' or 'don't bother me'? I've never seen this before with another reptile of mine. Also any suggestions how to get him onto Dubia? I think he doesn't like them just because I once had too much calcium powder on one and he licked the powder and the taste of it turned him off. Thanks!!
