crested gecko climbing abilities

i just want to know if a baby gecko will have the same climbing abilites as an adult gecko. does the climing getter better throughout is life? i'm asking this because my friends gecko can't climb glass and is about 3-6 months old.

Cresties are as good climbers when thye'r babies as when they are adults. If your friends gecko can't climb there's something wrong, mabye he has som skin stuck under his feet from a sheed

ya, thats why i'm asking. the gecko definetely has some stuck shed . i'll jusr wait until it sheds next time for all the skin to come off. i already tried to give it a sauna/bath and take skin off with a qtip. that helped a bit but the gecko still cant climb very well.

thank you for the answers. my friend just put the gecko in the sauna for about half an hour and that fixed the problem. i guess the gecko is just a noob at shedding because the humidity is always over 60% or 70%.

It doesn't always have to be a stuck shed. I know that younger geckos tend to walk through their food much more often than they really should. This tracks it all over the place and usually gets stuck between their toes, making it impossible for them to climb. The food can also harden and cut of circulation, smaller geckos are much more prone to it than adults are.

ya i know that. but you could do the humid container for 30 mins and then all the cgd will come off.
