interesting to see how colouration and contrast are changing in a few weeks.
right : 5 days old baby (female ?) with 4 quite chocolate bands.
left : 7 days old baby (male ?) and dark band becoming lighter in the center part
center left : 5 weeks old female and center right : 5 weeks old male both with middle stage colour ie tan brown in the center of the bands with a surrounding chocolate line.
You can make comparison with adult colour in my old posts.
