Male Levis eating pattern

My adult male levis hasn't eaten a thing for 6 days now. He usually eats 1-2 crickets/small dubia everyday; but once in a while he will go off feed for 5-7 days. This might be related to pre-shed and after shed; and occur once every 1-2 month. Is this normal or strange behaviour? Since today is day 6 already, if he doesn't resume eating soon, I'm going to freak out.

I weighed him last week and he was 18.0g - how does that sound for an adult male? Average or too skinny?

On the other hand, my adult amyae male is 41g. I heard he is bigger than average, is this true? I think they're both 1-1.5 year old.

Ok, I switched his food back to crickets yesterday, and he ate 2!! I used to give him crickets, but ran out of it early August and so I gave him appropriate sized dubias instead. He ate 9 of those in a week, but then I guess he doesn't like the dubias after all. Geez, his choice for protesting got me really worried!

hi
i also think he prefers crickets or is just used to them.

i would have tried longer,
if he is healthy, i would not matter when he wont eat for a week or so.
otherwise you will never bring him to eat other insects.

sry for bad english.
bye

Yeah I would not be concerned. My males are very strange as opposed to the females, females constantly want to eat, males not soo much. My males will also never eat in front of me only when I have walked away. I have also found that the males appetite goes down considerably when breeding. It is as if their mind is somewhere else, hahaha.
