My containers are completely sealed - no holes in the lids or containers.
I try not to disturb the eggs at all during incubation. If the vermiculite is prepared correctly, it should stay damp throughout the incubation cycle.
Also, when placing the eggs into the container, I try to lay them exactly as they were found in the nesting box, ie: carefully mark the top of the egg with a texta/Niko so you know which way to place them in the incubator.
Turning the eggs can disturb the embryo and kill the embryo gecko.
