Klemmeri terra

I can't figure out what cage to get for my klemmeri I want one thats secure and klemmeri can't escape I was thinking of A exo terra 12x12x18 or a 10 gallon zilla critter cage They have sliding tops and I think I will go with this one but I want to make sure

I just bought a pair last weekend and I'm trying out exo terra's new 'nano' tank. I don't know if they are available in your area but they are 8x8x12". They have one opening door instead of two (which is what made me hesitate at the start) but it seems to be working great for me. Hold humidity well. The only thing is, the compact top for the UVB bulbs that they intended to be used with don't give off the warmth that klemmeri love. So zilla sells a similar fixture that is working well because it warms up alot more.

I think a Nano might be good as a hospital tank but I would think it would be cramped for a adult. Mine like the 12x12x18 works really well for me but they love the 18x18x24 tons of room to run and play!!

Yeah I agree. Mine are just babies and they love their nano tank for now. But I think I will move them into a 12x12x18 later on for sure. Definitely gives more room for plants and other decorations. I enjoy good humidity in my tanks as well and find that in smaller vivariums, this is easier to accomplish.:biggrin:
