Rarity?

Hello!

While I'm not new to reptiles, I am semi-new to Cresteds. I am saving up for several morphs, but I realized that I have no idea how hard these morphs are to find, nor how expensive they are, so I thought I'd post something on here. :)

Here's a list of the morphs that caught my eye:

Red Patternless (http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/hh71/aardvarkpets/DSCF4373.jpg)

Dalmation: ( http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0S020oMVKVMZmQA4dqjzbkF/SIG=12uv393vp/EXP=1285989772/**http%3a//www.gourmetrodent.com/images/Crested%2520Geckos/dalmation%25205.JPG )

Yellow (http://www.thegeckogarden.com/Spree1.jpg

Black with Yellow Flame ( http://www.arborealsetc.com/geckos/crest1.jpg

My dream Gecko is a Moonglow, but I know how rare and expensive they are. XD

Generally some the most "rare", or at least the most desired, are high contrast geckos with thick creamy dorsal flame patterns. However, red patternless are always a hit - red is a highly desired color to add into other projects so there's a demand for the patternless as a "clean slate". People will breed them into their harlequins for a nice red harlequin.

There aren't really many "rare" morphs as the genetics in cresties aren't typical dominant-recessive so there are no "hets" to breed together to get the rarer recessives.

Some people are also very picky about dalmatian spots, and they want "clean" animals that don't have any spots. Spots are very easily passed on so unless you are specifically breeding for spots, you might want to avoid animals with a scattering of dal spots.
