i invested some more time, energy and money into the borneo cat's vivarium
and he's been happy to spend time in his new hiding under a piece of cork
but while i was planting some more today
i noticed that the base of the driftwood has green mold on it already
i'd only placed it two days ago!
all the discussions i found are mostly about crested geckos' vivs & most seemed to think that it'll eventually go away
just brush it & try to keep it clean
i've kept the viv really clean so far
removing any faeces or crickets/roaches he'd refused to eat (dead or alive)
is it too wet in there?
i can't stop misting or the humidity level will drop
somebody suggested springtails?
my main concern is of harming him somehow
any advice?
thanks
