I have a few q's on freeding, the supplementaions, and the fruit honey mixture. For The supplements if I have uvb lighting what should I use for goldust, lined or dull day geckos. If you can I would like the names of these supplements and how often to use them. Now the fruit honey mixture what recepie should I use and how often to feed it to them as well Thanks

i use Repcal Calcium with D3 (even though I use UV as well)
Repcal Herpvite for vitamins and such

for the fruit mixture I alternate between using Repashy MRP
and a mixture of fruit babyfood, honey, bee pollen, herpvite and a little mrp powder.

i use the supplements as follows

Calcium 3/4 of the time
Herpvite 1/4 of the time

So by your comment above you feed your geckos four times a week and dust them with calcium + Ds 3 times out of four then the other time with the multivitamin. and the fruit mix the three days you don't feed them during the week? Thanks i'm was a little confused

usually they get the fruit mix 2 times a week , yes on off days when they don't receive insects.

do you know if uvb lighting is nesassary if you give them D3 in the diet I do have several lights on the cage for brightness but if you give them D3 with the calcium do you need uvb? ( I know you give them D3 with uvb but would it be ok just to give them D3 and then give them some natural sunlight in the summer by bringing them outside) thanks

there is debate on the UVB issue of course
I am very adamant about supplying UVB to any babies I have, the adults less so if at all. i supplement them sufficiently and have noticed no ill effects. No point in adding sunlight if you're supplementing properly

Ok thanks I just posted a thread on the uvb just to make sure but I'm probaly going to not use it and just supplement them but for neonates I will use uvb
