fighting geckos?

I have had two female leo's housed together since they were babies, and they are now around 6 years so its been more than awhile. Well, only one of them lets you handle it and actually seems to enjoy getting out for a good exploration. Well I don't get her out too much because usually when I'm home they are sleeping and I don't like to disrupt them, but lately I've been home late due to a demanding school schedule (yay clinicals-not), so I've been able to get her out more after she eats. Well it seems as though the other one will get very grumpy towards her after I handle her. Is it due to my scent? I don't see enough aggressive behavior to permit splitting them up, but she just seems different for a few hours after I take the other one out. Thoughts on this? I tried letting the other one out too, but she hates being handled. She'll try to bite the whole time getting her out, and I don't like stressing her like that. Any suggestions? Again, they aren't going at it, I'm not worried about the others safety or well being, I'm more worried about causing stress to the grouchy one.
