Got ebenaui egg tonight!

She was laying this afternoon. Was not sure what she was doing under a leaf by the water bowl so shined a light under it for a second to see what she was doing and sure enough saw a egg. Didnt lift the leaf up or anything when I did it just through the glass for a second cause I didnt want to disturb her. When she was done and moved away from the sight I removed the egg and have it incubating now. It was only one so either she still hasn't laid the other or she laid it somewhere else in the viv. Hopefully she didnt lay it in a hard to find spot. Oh man, im so happy. Her last 4 were grimy duds but this is a perfect egg. Cant wait till its around 90ish days . have a good one all.

Excellent and congratulations! Don't saturate the egg (so many people want to!). Try to keep the humidity as high as 85% without moisture or condensation actually touching the egg. There are many ways to do it, just find the balance where temps and humidity don't allow condensation to form on the egg. Keep it in a deli-cup at 68-70F, in a dark location. Don't put heat on it, give it decent ventilation. The baby may hatch prematurely and die soon after (if too warm). Good luck!
