Tonight is my family Christmas party and I have several young cousins that have an interest in my Leo Nova. She is in the basement where the kids play guitar hero and watch tv on our rather large and loud tv. I'm pretty sure they wont get into her cage although I am very tempted to move her upstairs and I am checking on her often. I just want to know if the loud tv or activities will have any negative effect on her. Am i being paranoid about it? I just want her to stay happy and not be afraid of humans which is why I'm not letting any of the kids touch her. and an answer before the end of the night wpuld be helpful lol. Thanks!

i wouldn't expose her to any excessively loud noises or rapping on the glass. if you pick her up and show her to the kids it shouldn't effect her too bad. no constant flashing lights and things of that nature and she will be fine. don't let the kids handle her.let them look through the glass.

A little late but i'll still chime in...

Apart from perhaps being startled and perhaps staying in her hide the entire time I don't think you should be too worried. My gecko's habitat is in the same room I watch tv and play video games in. On some occasions he'll be out doing his thing, get a little startled and just go back into his hide.

You might notice her staying in her hide for a day or two afterwards, wouldn't be uncommon in my experience.
