My first U. sikorae

Had this little one picked up from Hamm for me so thought I'd put up some pics. I'm totally in awe of these and feel very privileged to have this in my collection.

A couple of people have said they think female. Any further confirmation would be great :D

These first pics were just an hour before shedding.

Hi,
Nice animal, I've seen it on the show but after the shed and good pictures, I will say you have a guy there....It's an interesting pattern and It can be quite difficult to sex them whith this kind of color, especially when they are stressed ( like on the show ).

Thank you for your input Tristan :D I'm very happy with him and he's settling in really well. Good appetite and very active.

Thank you all for your comments :D

Could someone explain what you actually look for in the patterning to determine sex of these.

Many thanks.

Male Sikorae patterning runs more from head to tail, females tend to have blotches. Think of it as the males looking like the bark and the females looking like moss.

Thank you for that explanation pakinjak. Would that apply to all colour forms or are some easier than others?
