Sex verification

I got this patternless "male" a little over a year ago. At the time it was much smaller and I assumed the seller accurately sexed it. I rarely handle my tokays, and this one is particularly defensive, so for the most part it's been left alone in a cage shared with a normal female for the past year. In all that time I have never heard "him" call or seen any inclination to mate, even though there are adult males who call regularly in the same room. Well today I decided to give the tokays a general health exam and I think my "male" may in fact be a she. The gecko never developed the size or structure normally seen in adult males and although there are "pores" there is no wax development. So I'd like a second, or third and fourth lol, opinion on the sex. Pics aren't as close up as I would like but should give the general idea.

Not an expert but I think your suspicions are correct and that he is actually she .The pores certainly are not as well defined as I would expect a males to be and no real bumps at base of the tail.

Thanks guys. I pulled out one of my adult males for side by side comparison(let me tell you what a juggling act that was, lol) and with the complete lack of wax development I am convinced "he" is actually a she. That would explain the smaller size and lack of calling and the fact that I've never gotten eggs from this "pair." She will be paired up to my largest cb male (assuming he accepts her) and we will see if I can finally reproduce this morph.
