i'm new here and new to owning geckos

i bought my gecko last tuesday (4.5.11) and i'm enjoying him a lot. can't wait till the he gets used to his cage so he will start being more active.

here is the picture of him or her (not the best quality picture sorry, it's hard holding a flashlight and try to take a picture also) and i named him/her vader (my tow dogs are named after star wars characters so i figured i would name my gecko after a star wars character also)

What a cool looking gecko! Welcome to the forums and I hope you enjoy your new companion. I recently purchased my first reptiles, 2 juvenile leopard geckos. Its a rewarding experience
