Well I'm new to leopard geckos and I'm getting a leopard gecko today.
so i have a couple questions.

I AM LEAVING WITHIN THE HOUR SO HELP.

1. since i want to have a nice substrate what should it be? I already know about sand.But I want it to be naturalistic.
2. Last one will be what should i feed it since it will most likely be a baby?

i wont answer your 1st question as i bet a lot of debate will go into it but there is a topic here about which substrate is best...

2nd question is easy... feed it pinhead crickets or get a cricket no longer than half an inch... or u can feed it mealworms... the smaller the better... gl with ur new gecko!

Substrate is a heated discussion but when they're babies you really need to be careful and do your research. I use Repti-Carpet for now and haven't had any problems with him "sticking" to it or "catching" as some people have had.

I also feed Oscar small crickets but it's good to give them a variety at a young age. Wax worms are ok every now and then because they have a high fat and phosphorous content. If they get too much phosphorus in their system they can't process the calcium they need for bone formation and vice-versa.
