Sorry about the rubbish photo's I only just picked these 2 up so im letting them settle. these were taken with a phone!

First up is my new male Blue headed green. He has an awesome build on him, very very stocky! his back legs are HUGE!!

and here is my sub-adult Patternless powder blue. She (I think) is a lot brighter than in these photo's. From doing a bit of research it would seem this gene is dominant (or co-dom) so im very excited about what next year will bring. Tokay morphs in the UK are VERY scarce!!

These 2 bring the morph count to 5 and the total tokay count to 12!

Any comments welcome =]

All the best

Very nice looking tokays Tom. I'd like to get into the patternless blues as well. I just haven't come across any at the right price yet. We get a fair number of tokay morphs here in the US, but the majority of them are WC and VERY over priced (IMO) for the condition that most of them tend to be in. I really hope that with us here on GU (among others), that we will soon see an increase in quality captive bred tokays both "normal" and morphs available in the near future.

Thats the way it seems to be going. this one of my goals too. CB tokay's are few and far between in the UK with people opting for the WC alternative. however since a few successful tamings with CB tokay's people are willing to splash out the extra cash for one. only thing is, there arent any!

all my tokays are from the already captive population. I refuse to buy any fresh WC ones.

There are some captive bred tokays for sale at moment because I'm getting mine (CB young) from Watford this saturday and I have looked for tokays for ages ago.

Yes but not many. And most "CB" ones aren't actually captive bred. You said it yourself though, you have been looking for ages which is proof that they are few and far between.

Great news that you have sourced one though. Bet you're excited : ) they are a cracking species. Roll on may 7th!
