Reptarium - Safe with cats?

Hey there!

So, I'm considering buy Reptariums - they are in my price range for the size I need - for my Cresteds. I just have one concern - would my Geckos be safe with my cat in an all screen cage? She has all her claws, so I am terrified that she might claw through the screen and get Spike.

All help is appreciated! Thanks! :D

Unfortunately a cat would easily be able to destroy a Reptarium if properly motivated, they can also do the same to any of the metal screen cages currently on the market. I would recommend to sticking with glass enclosures when kept in rooms that cats have access to.

You could always put the enclosure on a tall enough stand with nothing next to it that the cat can jump on.

Yeah, that's what I thought. :/

Why not just buy a used glass tank? They are much cheaper used.

I plan to - I'm just looking at all of my options before I buy. :)

Yeah, but my room is very small, so that could possibly take up too much room. :/
