Leopard gecko: Odd eating "ritual"?

Ok so in the past few weeks while observing Sobe I have noticed something rather strange. When he is hunting, and about to strike his tail will go up, nothing out of the ordinary right? but then he wags it really fast, comparable to a rattle snake almost... I want to get a video of it and post it sooner or later. has anyone else experienced this?

They do that when they get excited, or when a male see a female and want to mate. It's one of those funny perks to watching a leopard gecko hunt.

One of mine swirls her tail really slowly it looks amazing most of the others just wag there's a bit before striking. Only my male vibrates his tail tho

I was watching Buffy tonight while she was hunting her crickets.. her tail was almost straight up in the air slowly going back and forth. So looked like a cat.
