Transer Back to Kritter Keeper?

I have an 11 day old baby which I got at 3 days old! I had him in a kritter keeper and just put him in a 10 gallon tank at 8 days old. I have read that that is ok as long as you put the gecko in the kritter keeper when feeding crickets. He licks the CGD in the 10 gal. He doesnt appear to use the whole tank, yet. I am going on vacation and would prefer to take him with us. I know my pet sitter wont do crickets! She would do the CGD but I am not sure he is eating enough of it yet. Is there a problem with putting him back in the critter keeper for vacation? Will that stress him out? Maybe I should just keep him in there for another month, you think? I just feel bad because now he is used to the climbing space. I feel like he'd be bored in the smaller carrier. Yes, I would put stuff in it but its not the same. I dont want him to stress and loose his tail. Thanks for any thoughts.

At 2 weeks old there shouldn't be a problem with putting him in a KK for vacation. Babies eat very little so you may not notice a lot of food missing from his dinner bowl until he gets to a couple months.

You could just leave him in his 10g and just have the gecko sitter offer CGD; going 1-2 weeks without crickets won't hurt him (heck some cresties won't even touch a cricket).

Thanks! I appreciate both of your thoughts. I put him back in the kk before I got a response. He seems fine and I can monitor him better anyway. Think I'll keep him in through August.
