Aggregate Stopper Help

This is actually for a bearded dragon enclosure, I just figured I'd post here cause I like the forum lol! Ok so I have a bearded dragon enclosure from cages by design thats 6' X 2' with sliding front doors. Now if I put a substrate in there it will get in the door tracks and then I cant open the doors. So I bought an aggregate stopper from the company to stop this, however, when I put the aggregate stopper in the way I was suppose to with the adhesive they provided the dragons ended up ripping it down and filling up the door tracks with sand again. So I have since removed all the substrate but I want to re-do it so that I can put a substrate back in. What do you guys think will work best in this cage to hold the aggregate stopper in place?, it will have to hold up to the dragons being maniacs, but Im also trying to avoid anything permanent just in case I need to take the cage apart.

thanks

If you have any eggcrate I would silicon some tile To the outside facing edge let it dry and use more silicon to attach it to the tank.

Im not sure if I understand what you mean, what do you use the eggcrate for? Also silicone would make it difficult to remove tthe aggregate stopper and put it back into the tank when cleaning or moving.

The egg crate will span the length of the tank, a hard task for just tile. It will also add strength to the tile.

As far as removal, the retainer should be able to be held in place by just the sand, if not silicon would be able to keep it in place. With cleaning and moving, will the added cenemeteres make it harder for you? in the same line of thought silicone comes out easily from glass or plastic with a simple razor blade.

I never had a problem doing it like that on sand boas. If you wanted you could also just put some brick in the front but this will not have the benefit of going the entire way and can be pushed out of the Way easily by a large bearded dragon c
