Too big for adult garg?

So as some of you know, I'm getting a juvenile Gargoyle gecko over x-mas. I have a 15 gal aquarium set up for the little one when he/she arrives. I'm picking up a 40 gal 30hx24wx13d tank today and I was wondering if that would be too big for him/her when he/she gets to adult size? I plan on doing a custom background with hides and everything kind of similar to my Leo setup but more Garg friendly with climbers and what not. Thanks!

A 40 gallon should be fine for an adult garg. Believe me, he/she will utilize every inch of the enclosure they are given.

Awesome! I love doing big natural custom tanks for my geckos! I'm super excited! $40 for a used 40 gal tall aquarium! How can you go wrong!!?!?!??

I have another question. Would it be too much for a 6 month old garg to go directly into this tank when I get it? My problem is that I had a 15 gal that I was going to put it in but when I went to take it outside to clean it the bottom cracked and is no longer useable.... I can't believe I did that..... Anyways, I posted a new thread with the pictures of the complete tank. I just wanted to know if all that space would be too big for the little one?
