Hi! so my story is an incredible one. My 1 year old female LOUISE. is (housed with another female THELMA) was egg bound. Original owner failed to tell that they had been house with a male who kept knocking up Louise...anyways she developed eggs infertile ones. she lost all the weight in her tail. it has been two months! with these awful eggs inside of her. after two vet visits oxytocin and a huge bill and stress she passed them ! WOW so terrible the pain she must of been in. I contemplated putting her down cause of her pain. But she did it and with alof of TLC and baths etc etc...we did it! she actually hadnt eaten in over 2 months. she is wraith thin. But yest she ate two crickets three meal worms! so happy! she keeps closing her eyes though...Im a little worried about this. any hints?
