Here I go again! This is my second adoption in one week.....On Wednesday I adopted a baby female Bahaman Brown Anole (smallest lizard I now own). And yesterday, Saturday, I brought home the newest member of the lizard family (the largest lizard I own):
Mr. Mister is a 3 year old male Sudan Plated Lizard (22 inches in total length) who needed a new home. He's here and off of newspaper and on substrate so he can dig! He is also on heat now and wasn't being warmed at all for the last 8 months!! He's currently in his little burrow on the slate above the UTH. He was out basking earlier.
I put some greens in and some small banana bits in his tank tonight so I'm hoping that he'll eat a bit while I'm at work tomorrow. I'm going to give him some crickets tomorrow evening as well. I hope he eats soon and doesn't worry me.
He has a great temperament. Once you've got him in your hands he just relaxes and chills with you. He's not really keen on exploring much. He'd rather sit with me for a while. He's a great lizard!
Without further ado:
Mr. Mister!
