Hello,

I have seen a couple of these geckos for sale and was wondering about their care. I have searched quite a bit but haven't found much. Is there someone that has keep and breed this species successfully? Are they somewhat easier to keep?

Thank you

Easy. Fairly basic sub-tropical to semi-arid, semi-arboreal/rock dwelling nocturnal geckos from South America. I had some in my care for a short while this time last year. Did well with upright slate/cork flats and a sand/soil substrate. I kept them at room temps in my hot room (Phelsuma/Gekko/Hemidactylus) so ambient temps were about 80-85F day and 70-80F night. They would probably benefit from an additional heat source with a hot spot of about 90-95F for a few hours a day.

I fed 3x per week and lightly misted them 2-4x per week. Care is very similar to many Hemidactylus.

Thank you for the reply.

Sorry for my late one.

I was interested in them but sadly they were bought before I could get my hands on them. Thank you anyway. Hopefully there will be some more imports or even cb's.

Thank you
